Oak Brook Law Firm Tiesenga & DeBoer LLP congratulates the Timothy Christian Mock Trial Team and Attorney Coach Nathaniel Reinsma on their first place finish at the annual statewide invitational tournament.
OAK BROOK, IL - APRIL 14, 2016
The Oak Brook law firm of Tiesenga & DeBoer LLP congratulates the Timothy Christian High School mock trial team (of Elmhurst) on its recent first place finish in the 34th Annual Illinois State Bar Association High School Mock Trial Invitational Tournament, held April 2-3, 2016.
Timothy Christian competed at the ISBA tournament against 37 other teams from across the state, and was named the winner following a series of three mock trials over two days. This marks Timothy Christian’s seventh win since the inception of the ISBA tournament, and its first since 2006. Students from Timothy Christian’s team will represent the State of Illinois in the National High School Mock Trial Championship, held this year in Boise, Idaho.
The firm would also like to congratulate Partner Nathaniel Reinsma, who volunteered as an attorney coach for the Timothy Christian team, on the team’s success. Reinsma is an alumnus of Timothy Christian High School and has participated in its mock trial program as a student, as a non-lawyer coach, and as an attorney coach. He has been a partner at Tiesenga & DeBoer LLP since 2005 and is head of the firm’s litigation practice, with experience in the area of commercial litigation, and corporate disputes.
“We wish the best of luck to the Timothy Christian team and Nathaniel as they represent Illinois at the national level next month,” says Partner Edward N. Tiesenga.
